Pat S. Hurst has twenty-eight years of diverse experience in all phases of retail and commercial real estate including strategic planning, marketing, promotion, leasing, tenant recruitment, business development, financial analysis, construction, etc.
As the founding partner of Hurst Harrigan Associates and EDS, Ms. Hurst has directed many urban main street retail revitalization programs on behalf of several cities including Pine Avenue in Long Beach, Colorado Boulevard in Old Pasadena, Main Street/Pier Avenue in Huntington Beach, Westwood Boulevard in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, and the San Jose Historic District, Downtown San Jose, California. Results of her efforts include multi-block development transactions with such firms as Palladium/Related Companies of New York, CIM Group of Hollywood, TrizecHahn of Los Angeles and transactions with tenants such as Z Gallerie, Crate & Barrel, Saks Main Street, Cheesecake Factory, Laemmle Art Cinema, Pottery Barn, IMAX Theatre’s, The Improv, House of Blues, PF Changs, Border Grill, etc. Her expanding private sector client base currently includes firms such as The Related Companies of California, Lennar Communities, CIM Group, New Urban West, Inc., Metropolitan Pacific Development Company, the San Antonio Winery family, Doheny Family Trust, as well as The Improv, Regal Cinemas, AMC Theaters, Laemmle Theaters, and Crate & Barrel to name a few.
As a result of her working knowledge of the retail/real estate commercial office markets and her expansive network of contacts in the industry, Ms. Hurst provides her clients with experience ranging from the marketing of individual retail and office projects, to assisting with the revitalization of business and commercial districts throughout California.
